This year we are excited to partner with Mennonite Disaster Service and get 4 cabins built!
They will be coming to camp and providing all of the labor needed to build our four cabins. These are groups of 20 people who are coming to gain training and experience for when disaster hits, they are prepared and understand how to build and work as a team.
We have 4 cabins that are going to be built to replace our boys’ cabin. This cabin is an old logging cabin that currently has 4 rooms, and a shared washroom. This is the last summer they’ll be used, and we are so thankful for that!
Each cabin is going to cost us $12,500. We are seeking to raise $50,000 for this project. We are grateful for all of the goods and services that have already been donated to help cover the costs of these cabins.
These cabins are coming equipped with a toilet, shower and sink, 6 bunk beds and a nice front porch area.
If you’re interested in donating, any donations over $20 will get a tax receipt. We’re so grateful for a community that cares about Camp Likely – thank you!
