Mission Statement

"We exist you lead people to experience transformation in Jesus."

Camp Likely is a Christian children’s summer camp dedicated to sharing the message of Jesus Christ. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun camp experience for children of all backgrounds, all set in the beauty of God’s creation.

The camp was originally founded in 1975 by Jim and Sharon Potter, along with a small group from Likely Chapel, on the shores of Faux Bay at Lake Quesnel. In 2006, the camp moved just a few hundred meters east to its current location, where the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, in partnership with Cariboo Bethel Church, took over its operation.

Situated on 7 acres of land leased from the Ministry of Lands, the camp was renamed Camp Likely shortly after the transition in 2006. Looking ahead to 2025, Camp Likely will be transitioning under the care of our sister camp, Stillwood Camp and Conference Centre, for another season of ministry.

Partners

Camp Likely is proud to partner with a number of organizations in our mission to share the Gospel of Jesus through summer camp. We don't believe that anyone should have to go it alone; that applies to each camper and our entire ministry.
We have teamed up with others to provide better, safer, more fun camps!
